What is BizTel?
BizTel is Comstel ICT’s cloud phone system, powered by iPECS Cloud from Ericsson-LG. It replaces a traditional on-premises PBX with a hosted platform — so there’s no hardware to rack or maintain, and you can add users or sites quickly.
What’s included in every bundle?
Every plan includes the softphone app (mobile, PC, laptop), a phone line per extension, a new number or the ability to port your own, unlimited local, national & mobile calls, call waiting, and the full iPECS call feature set (forwarding, voicemail-to-email, conference, parking, chat, internal video and more).
Which bundle should I choose?
Starter Soft-Line or BYOD ($25/mo) are app-only. Basic ($30) adds an iPECS 1010i handset; Standard ($40, popular) the 1040i; Pro ($50) the 1050i; Ultra ($55) the 1080i executive handset; and Wireless ($60) a cordless IP DECT handset with base. All are per extension, per month.
Are calls really unlimited?
Yes — unlimited local, national and mobile calls on every plan. International calls and 1300 numbers are not included and are charged at 35c per call.
How much is installation?
From $199 excl. GST. In Sydney Metro that covers the first 2 hours ($99/hr after, travel within 20km included). Outside Sydney it’s a $199 callout fee + $0.95/km + $99/hr labour. Cabling is not included. Remote setup options are available — ask the team.
Can I keep my number, and how fast is it?
Yes — port your existing number across, or take a new one. Choose your bundle, get your number ported and your cloud phone system is typically running within days.
