About Fujifilm

From Fuji Xerox to FUJIFILM Business Innovation.

In April 2021, the Australian operation formerly known as Fuji Xerox Australia rebranded to FUJIFILM Business Innovation Australia. The hardware lineage is unchanged — same engineering, same local technical knowledge, same Australian support network — but the brand alignment now sits fully under Fujifilm.

The flagship product family is Apeos — an "all-in-one" multifunction range built around copy, print, scan and fax. The ApeosPort series adds advanced enterprise features, document workflow integration, and compact form factors. At the top end, the Revoria Press range covers high-end production printing.

Fujifilm devices integrate natively with Microsoft Universal Print, support card-tap user authentication, and offer secure print release across a fleet — making them a strong choice for businesses standardising on Microsoft 365 environments.

Why Comstel For Fujifilm

One supplier across your whole tech stack.

Six reasons businesses consolidate Fujifilm print with Comstel rather than running a separate vendor for it.

One provider, one bill

Fujifilm print, plus phones, internet, cybersecurity, mobile — one Comstel account, one monthly invoice. Fewer vendor relationships, simpler accounts payable.

Microsoft 365 ready

Fujifilm devices integrate natively with Microsoft Universal Print and Azure AD. Comstel handles the cloud print setup, authentication, and user provisioning during install.

Secure print release

Card-tap authentication and PIN-release printing keep confidential documents from sitting in output trays. Comstel configures secure print as part of installation.

Honest model recommendations

We'll tell you when a simpler model meets your needs. No upselling to a flagship if a mid-tier Apeos covers your actual usage.

Genuine Fujifilm supplies

Genuine Fujifilm toner and consumables sourced through Comstel — ordered on demand or set up on scheduled replenishment via your Comstel account.

Service & maintenance

Preventative maintenance schedules, fault response, and ongoing technical support — handled by Comstel's Sydney-based team rather than juggling a separate vendor.

Who It Suits

Fujifilm is the right pick for Microsoft-first offices.

Common Questions

Quick answers about Fujifilm with Comstel.

Is Fujifilm the same as Fuji Xerox?
In Australia, yes — the operation rebranded from Fuji Xerox Australia to FUJIFILM Business Innovation Australia in April 2021. The hardware lineage, engineering, and local support network are unchanged; the brand now sits fully under Fujifilm. If you've used Fuji Xerox in the past, the Apeos range is the natural continuation.
What's the difference between Apeos and ApeosPort?
Apeos is the broad all-in-one MFP range, covering A4 and A3, mono and colour, for everyday business use. ApeosPort models add specific features — compact form factors, mono-focused A4 (like the 4020SD), or advanced workflow capability for specific use cases. For most offices, an Apeos model is the right starting point; ApeosPort suits specific needs.
Does Fujifilm work with Microsoft 365?
Yes — natively. Apeos and ApeosPort devices register directly with Microsoft Universal Print, so users authenticated via Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) can print from anywhere through the cloud. Comstel handles the setup, user provisioning and authentication configuration during installation.
What about secure print release for confidential documents?
Apeos and ApeosPort support card-tap authentication and PIN-release printing. Documents only print when the user authorises release at the device. Card information can be shared across devices in the same network — tap your card at any MFP in the office. Comstel configures this during install.
What is IWpro and DocuWorks?
IWpro is Fujifilm's secure document platform — collaborative workspaces, workflow optimisation, metadata-driven document management, and cloud printing. DocuWorks is the established Fuji Xerox document management software, still supported. Both integrate natively with the Apeos hardware. Ask Comstel about whether either fits your workflow.
Do you service existing Fuji Xerox or Fujifilm devices?
In many cases, yes. Send Comstel the make, model and serial number of your existing Fuji Xerox or Fujifilm devices and we'll confirm whether we can take over service contracts and supplies. Contact us to discuss.
How do I get a Fujifilm quote?
Call 1300 070 747 or email sales@comstel.com.au. Tell us: how many users, typical monthly volumes (mono vs colour), A4 only or A3 too, secure release needs, and your location. Comstel will recommend the right Fujifilm model and provide a tailored quote.
