What's Included

Why Enterprise Ethernet beats standard fibre.

Six structural advantages that come standard on every Enterprise Ethernet plan — for businesses where the network is the lifeblood of operations.

Symmetrical speeds

Identical upload and download at every tier — 250 up = 250 down, 1 GB up = 1 GB down. Critical for cloud sync, video conferencing, and off-site backup performance.

Dedicated infrastructure

Your fibre line and bandwidth aren't shared with neighbouring premises. Predictable, consistent performance — even at peak times when standard NBN slows down.

Business-grade SLA

Documented service level agreement with priority fault response and faster restoration than standard NBN tiers. The strongest SLA available on the nbn network.

Zero install cost

All Enterprise Ethernet plans include $0 installation when you commit to a 36-month contract. No upfront capex — just predictable monthly opex.

Scalable bandwidth

Start at 250 MB and scale to 1 GB — or higher tiers via custom quote. Add bandwidth as the business grows without re-running cables or changing infrastructure.

Priority support

Direct access to senior Comstel engineers, dedicated account management, and priority queue handling on all support tickets. Faults treated as critical.

Choose Your Plan

Six plans across two pricing zones.

Pricing depends on your premises' service zone. Metro CBD covers central business districts with the most cost-effective rates. Metro Zones 1, 2, and 3 cover broader metro areas with identical pricing. Tell us your address — Comstel will confirm your zone and run a site qualification check.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about Enterprise Ethernet.

What's the difference between Metro CBD and Metro Zones 1-3?
Metro CBD covers central business districts and offers the most cost-effective Enterprise Ethernet pricing — from $399/month for 250 MB. Metro Zones 1, 2, and 3 cover broader metro areas with identical pricing across all three zones — from $525/month. Comstel will confirm your address's service zone during the site qualification (SQ) check.
What does "symmetrical" mean and why does it matter?
Symmetrical means upload and download speeds are equal — 250 MB up = 250 MB down, 1000 MB up = 1000 MB down. Standard residential and many business NBN tiers are asymmetric (download faster than upload). For cloud sync, video calls, off-site backup, and SaaS apps, fast upload speeds are critical — symmetric makes a daily, measurable difference.
What is "Low Traffic Class"?
Low Traffic Class is the standard Enterprise Ethernet traffic profile — suitable for general business internet use including web, email, cloud apps, file transfers, and video. For voice, real-time trading, or industrial control workloads, ask about High Traffic Class options which include guaranteed jitter and packet loss profiles.
Why is the contract 36 months?
The 36-month contract enables the $0 installation cost on all Enterprise Ethernet plans — standard installation can otherwise run into thousands of dollars. The contract also locks in your monthly pricing for the term so you have predictable connectivity costs over the planning horizon. Shorter contract options may be available at higher monthly cost — ask at quote.
How long does installation take?
Site qualification (SQ) typically takes a number of business days. Once approved, installation lead time depends on cabling complexity and infrastructure required at your premises. Comstel can run interim NBN connectivity if you need to be online while Enterprise Ethernet is being provisioned — confirmed timelines provided at quote.
What's the difference vs Comstel Fast Fibre?
Fast Fibre suits SMB and mid-market businesses with site-check pricing and symmetric speed tiers from 250 to 1000 Mbps. Enterprise Ethernet is the premium nbn business tier — standardised pricing per zone, $0 install on 36-month contracts, and the strongest SLA available on the nbn network. Enterprise Ethernet is the right choice when your network is mission-critical.
Can I bundle Enterprise Ethernet with other services?
Yes. Bundle Enterprise Ethernet with BizTel cloud phones, cybersecurity, mobile plans, and managed IT for one streamlined invoice and bigger savings. Enterprise customers also benefit from dedicated account management across the full Comstel service stack.
How do I order?
Click Order Online on any plan above to start, or call 1300 070 747 for enterprise sales support. A senior Comstel team member will respond same business day, run the site qualification check, and provide a fixed quote within a number of business days.
