Do I have to take all three services?
No. Home phone, nbn™ and mobile can be taken on their own or in any combination. Putting more than one with us means a single bill and one team to call — and usually a better total price, so it’s worth asking.
What does "unlimited calls" actually cover?
Unlimited standard local, national and mobile calls made from your Comstel home phone, with Voice Mail included. International calls and premium numbers are charged separately — ask us for those rates.
Is the GR-WP816 handset really free?
Yes, on the 24-month home phone plan, while stocks last. It’s a portable Wi-Fi handset with a 1.77" colour screen and HD voice. On the no-lock-in plan you bring your own handset instead, at the same $29/month.
Will I get the full nbn™ speed I’m paying for?
The speeds shown are maximum line speeds. Actual speeds vary with the nbn™ technology at your address, your in-home setup and the time of day. What we can promise is no peak-period shaping from us — your plan speed applies all day, every day. Tell us your suburb and we’ll tell you what’s realistic at your place.
Can I keep my current phone and mobile numbers?
Yes. Both your home number and your mobile numbers can be ported across to Comstel. We manage the process so you’re not left without a service in the middle of it.
How much data do the mobile plans include?
Full data allowances and call & text inclusions are available on request — they change from time to time, so we quote the current ones rather than print them here. Ask us and we’ll send you the exact inclusions.
