Which residential plan is right for my home?+
As a guide: single users with light browsing suit Home Fast 25/10 at $59/mo. Small households with HD streaming suit Home Fast 50/20 at $79/mo. Families with 4K streaming suit Home Fast 100/40 at $99/mo. Heavy users with WFH and video calls suit Home Superfast 250/100 at $109/mo. Power users wanting gigabit speeds suit Home Ultrafast 1000/400 at $189/mo. Top-tier 2 Gbps comes via Hyperfast on FTTP ($199) or HFC ($189).
What’s the difference between full-upload and Value plans?+
Standard Superfast and Ultrafast plans deliver matched upload speeds (250/100, 500/200, 1000/400 Mbps). Value Speed Plans deliver the same high downloads at sharper prices but with a slower 50–100 Mbps upload. Value plans are right for homes focused on streaming, gaming and downloads where matched upload isn’t essential.
What NBN technologies are supported?+
Plans run on every fixed-line NBN technology: FTTP, HFC, FTTC, FTTN and FTTB. Higher-speed plans require fibre-based technology (FTTP or HFC). For premises without fixed-line NBN coverage, see our separate Fixed Wireless plans.
What’s the difference between Hyperfast HFC and FTTP?+
Both deliver 2 Gbps download. The difference is upload and price: Hyperfast 2000/100 on HFC is $189/mo with 100 Mbps upload; Hyperfast 2000/200 on FTTP is $199/mo with 200 Mbps upload. Your address determines which is available.
How do I get a quote for my address?+
Call 1300 070 747 or email sales@comstel.com.au with your address. We will check NBN availability and the technology type at your premises, confirm which plans are available, and provide a full quote including hardware and installation before you order.
Prices shown include GST. Pricing depends on address eligibility and the NBN technology type at your premises.
