The National Education Summit has been a fixture for Australian educators since 2016. It brings teachers, teacher-librarians and school leaders together for two days of practical sessions, new ideas and a look at what’s coming next in classrooms.

What’s free
Register once for a free Show Pass and you get both days of the expo plus every session in all three free theatres, with PD hours that count toward APST. Places in the seminars are limited, so it’s worth booking sessions when you register.

Early Stages Theatre — new for 2026
For the youngest learners, and for educators at the start of their careers.
Before the Bell — 8:15am, Thursday 3 September
Andrew Fuller opens the Summit on the Knowledge Centre stage with Setting Our Students and Ourselves Up for 2040. Free, and it runs before the expo floor opens. Also free on the program: Dan Bowen, K12 CTO at Microsoft, on curiosity in the age of AI.

One-day tickets are $450 and two-day tickets $790, excluding GST. Tickets include arrival tea and coffee, morning tea, buffet lunch, a Certificate of Attendance mapped to APST, and entry to the Summit Social and Teacher Awards on day one.
